I am creating this page so you can learn a little more about me. Hopefully this will help until we get to know each other in person.

I was born and raised right here in Delaware County, PA. My parents, sisters and their families also live here all within about five minutes of each other. I guess you could say we're a pretty close family. I have lived in Washington DC; San Antonio, TX; and Norfolk, VA and have visited over 35 states. My parents gave me a love for travel and I enjoy visiting new places as often as possible. I have identical twin boys born November 2000 and when I'm not working they keep me plenty busy. (The photo is an older one but a favorite of mine.)

My Hobbies: I have been skydiving since May 1999. I started jumping at United Parachute Club in Gilbertsville, PA and when they closed I relocated to Skydive CrossKeys in Williamstown, NJ. Skydiving is not just a sport that you play, it becomes part of who you are.  With two little boys you can find me playing a variety of different sports. Pretty much anything outdoors sounds good. We also like to go camping as often as possible. I may not be the craftiest person there is but I do like to make things myself. I have boxes full of every crafting material and occasionally I actually manage to make something out of it all. Not a typical girl thing but I also enjoy shooting. I have never been hunting, so far just shooting...at a range. I had never fired a gun until my days in the Air Force but I discovered that I really like it and it is a nice challenge for myself to do better each time I go. You can find me riding my mountain bike and although I'm not really one for serious off road biking, it can be a lot of fun and great exercise. Most recently, I took the PA motorcycle test and they gave me a license.  I will soon be riding on a different kind of two wheels. I also have to include this website. I created it myself and it is constantly changing and updating. If you have any problems, suggestions or questions...just let me know!

As a little girl, when all of my girlfriends were playing wedding and dressing up as the bride, I was the one helping out and putting everything together for them. I guess being on the planning side has always just come naturally. I started out working in the wedding business at a bridal sales boutique. (Selling wedding gowns and accessories) I really enjoyed working with brides to make their wedding fantasy become a reality but the sales aspect just wasn't me. For years I considered starting a wedding planning business and in the meantime helped friends plan their weddings. When it really came down to it, being able to perform the wedding is the most important part and that was what I wanted to do. I performed my first wedding ceremony in August 2004 and haven't looked back since. I truly love what I do and I think that every couple I work with can see that.

I have never felt that ony one religion quite "clicked" for me. I was raised Methodist and have always been interested in learning about other cultures, religions and traditions. I found parts of every one that at least somewhat fit what I think or feel but nothing that I could really feel comfortable labeling myself with. I chose to be Non-Denominational because I want to be able to involve every culture's traditions or beliefs without being restricted to any one set of rules.

The name "Blue Skies Weddings" comes from the two things I love to do. Skydiving and Weddings "Blue Skies" is a saying between skydivers. It is a way of saying Hi, Bye, or just simply wishing someone a good day. As a very weather related sport skydivers are always hoping for "Blue Skies" As for weddings, what Bride isn't hoping for blue skies on her wedding day? Blue Skies Weddings had just the right sound to it and had a personal meaning to me. I never even considered anything else.
